Jump Drive™

Overview

The Jump Drive™ is engineered to develop explosive lower-body power, jump performance, and landing control through a leverage-based loading system.

Unlike traditional squat machines, the Jump Drive™ is designed to create a changing load feel throughout the movement. By using a plate-loaded leverage system, the resistance changes depending on the movement angle. This allows athletes to train acceleration, peak force control, deceleration, and impact absorption in a more natural and performance-based way.

This is not just a squat machine.
It is a performance system designed to build real jumping power and controlled landing ability.

Why It’s Different

Most lower-body machines apply resistance in a simple and predictable way.

The Jump Drive™ is different because it uses a leverage system that changes the load depending on the movement phase.

During the jump phase, the athlete starts with a strong load, drives upward explosively, reaches a peak resistance zone, and then experiences a changing load as the lever angle continues to move.

During the landing phase, the athlete must absorb force, control deceleration, and maintain stability under load.

This allows the Jump Drive™ to train both sides of athletic movement:

Explosive power on the way up.
Controlled absorption on the way down.

Leverage Load System

The Jump Drive™ uses a plate-loaded leverage system.

When weight plates are loaded onto the machine, the resistance is not felt the same throughout the entire movement. The load changes according to the lever angle and the movement phase.

This creates a more realistic training effect for athletes who need to generate force quickly, control their body under load, and absorb impact safely.

The machine is designed to train the full jump pattern, from the explosive start to the landing control phase.

Jump Phase

A. Heavy Start

At the beginning of the jump phase, the athlete feels a strong load.

This requires an explosive start and helps train powerful lower-body drive from the bottom position.

This phase is especially useful for developing the first push, acceleration strength, and strong leg drive.

B. Normal Load

As the movement continues, the load becomes more balanced.

This phase allows the athlete to transfer force smoothly through the body while maintaining control and stability.

The movement becomes more stable and controlled, allowing the athlete to focus on power transfer.

C. Variable Load

As the lever angle changes, the load increases up to approximately 90 degrees.

Around this point, the athlete reaches the peak load zone.

After 90 degrees, the load begins to decrease. If the motion continues, the load can re-engage due to lever angle change and inertia.

This creates a unique resistance curve that helps train explosive power through a more dynamic movement pattern.

Landing Phase

A. Initial Impact

At the beginning of the landing phase, the load is relatively reduced.

This allows the athlete to prepare for impact and begin the landing motion with control.

The purpose of this phase is to prepare the body for controlled absorption.

B. Max Load

As the athlete moves deeper into the landing phase, the load reaches its heaviest point.

This requires strong deceleration, lower-body stability, and body control.

This phase is important for training the athlete to control force under pressure.

C. Final Absorption

At the bottom position, the athlete must sink deeper and absorb the remaining impact.

This helps develop landing control, joint stability, and the ability to handle force safely under pressure.

The goal is not only to jump powerfully, but also to land with control.

Training Benefits

The Jump Drive™ is designed to help athletes develop explosive lower-body power and improve jump performance.

It trains acceleration, force production, landing control, impact absorption, deceleration ability, and lower-body stability.

By combining power output and controlled absorption in one machine, it helps athletes transfer strength into real movement.

This makes it ideal for athletes who need to jump higher, accelerate faster, absorb impact better, and move more powerfully in real sports situations.
